Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks will stick around in Las Vegas after a 132-120 victory over the Orlando Magic.

With the victory, the Knicks will serve as the Eastern Conference representative in the NBA Cup final.

Brunson made 16-of-27 shots for 40 points, eight assists and four rebounds in the victory over Orlando.

The Knicks entered the game with momentum, having won 15 of their last 19 games. Brunson leads the Knicks with 28.3 points and 6.3 assists per game this season.

The Magic had won five of their last seven games, but had to play without Franz Wagner, who leads the Magic with 22.7 points this season. He didn’t play on Saturday due to a high left ankle sprain.

Suggs had 26 points in the game but scored just one point in the second half. He left the game and went to the locker room during the fourth quarter. Banchero finished with 25 points and eight rebounds.

Brunson has 37 points and five assists through three quarters of play. Karl-Anthony Towns has 19 points and seven rebounds. Jalen Suggs still has 25 points after not scoring in the third quarter. Paolo Banchero has 16 points and six rebounds.

The Magic have rallied in the third quarter, overcoming a 10-point deficit to take the lead during the quarter. The Knicks managed to weather the Magic’s offensive attack and take the lead into the final period of regulation.

New York outscored Orlando 38-28 in the second quarter.

Jalen Brunson scored 14 of his 25 first-half points in the second quarter. OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns scored 12 points in the half for the Knicks.

Jalen Suggs had a team-high 25 points in the first half, scoring 15 in the second quarter. Desmond Bane scored 11 points and was the only other player in the first half to score double-digit points for Orlando

Jalen Suggs led the Magic with 10 points and three assists in the first quarter. Orlando scored 22 of its 36 points in the paint.
